Mounted Pistol and Rifle competitions are held across the United States for money, buckles, and prizes
much like that of the professional rodeo circuits

**Competition status is based age, riding skill, and previous competition entries/wins**
(Wrangler competition (for children) has very explicit safety guidelines)

She teaches the contestants to shoot single action colt revolvers, at balloon targets,
while riding their horses thru a pattern of cones and poles
