Part 1 Welcome to Western States 2008

Well, another Western States is behind us.  We had nice weather after the bad weather the first of the week.  It seemed to know we needed decent weather with no wind, as it turned out pretty nice for Thursday through Sunday.

 
We arrived Thursday afternoon and found the camping to be different this year.  We were in a large group where there wasn't mud, not like the other side of the pavilion.

Wasn't there for the side matches.  The scores are posted for side matches and the main match.
 
We signed up

and then found our posse and went to the bay of our posse number.

 
I believe we had 8 posses. These pictures were taken by Richard Booth.

The stages were all fun ones, and we had a nice group of people on our posse.

After we finished for the day, Friday, it was lunch time.

HPD supplied sub sandwiches for all, drinks and chips.  The day before they supplied hamburgers and hot dogs, chips and drink.
