Well another warm shoot under our belts. The
weather was beautiful, as far as I was concerned, not too hot.
We had 21 shooters show up on Father's Day. Not
too bad. Two posse's, one of 10 the other 11.
We shot 4 stages, as no one wanted to shoot the 5th
stage, so we were finished before 12:00.
The stages were fun ones and everyone seemed to enjoy
them.
Quite a few brought chairs and umbrella to protect out
guns, as they get pretty hot without some shade.
Sgt. Neal from Winnemuca was in town at the Carson
Rendezvous, so he stayed another night and came to our shoot.
After the shoot it was down the the Pizza Factory for
lunch.
Next month will be another hot shoot, I suspect as
summer is creeping up on us. I would rather have hot weather
than cold.
