ARIZONA CLUB SHOOTS:

1st SATURDAY ---------    RIO SALADO CAS east of Phoenix.

            Directions:        Take AZ Hwy 60 East from Hwys I-17 & I-10 to Ellsworth Road and turn North onto Ellsworth.  Ellsworth Road changes to Usury Road (same road, name change).  You will pass thru the McDowell intersection and proceed approximately 2 miles on Usury Road.  Look for the Rio Salado Sports Club sign and turn west into the range.  You will see a large phoenix painted on the hill behind the range.  Shooters meeting 9 A.M. There is a 4-stage practice match on the Friday night (5:30 P.M.) before the Saturday match morning match.

            Directions:        The Sierra Vista Shooting Range is located 13 miles east of Sierra Vista on Hwy. 90.  If you are coming from Tombstone, it is 14 � miles to Hwy. 90, then turn west for 2.1 miles (between mile markers 334 & 335).  Look for red flag.  Shooters meeting starts at 9:00 A.M.

            Directions:        Take Hwy I-17 north.  Turn west (Exit 223) onto Carefree Hwy.(AZ 74). Turn south onto Lake Pleasant Road (Peoria/Sun City) for � mile. Turn west onto �old� Carefree Hwy (gravel road).  Stay on gravel road for approximately 2 � miles until you hit Cowtown.  During the summer starts at 8 A.M; in Winter 9 A.M.

2nd SATURDAY --------            PIMA PISTOLEROS at Pima Pistol Range north of Tucson.

                                    Directions:        Pima Pistol Range:  If coming from Tucson, take Oracle Road north past Rancho Vistoso.  Turn right (east) on to Wilds Road, and then turn right (south) on to Bowman Road.  When you encounter a Y in the road bear left.  Do not check-in at the range office, but check-in at the southern most bay.  If coming from Phoenix on Hwy I-10, take the Tangerine Road (Exit 241) and drive east until you reach Oracle Road and turn left (north)�.see above.   Shooting starts a 9 A.M. (Summer 8 A.M.)

            Directions:        Take Pinedale Road out of Taylor and drive west 5.4 miles until you reach Forest Road #133 (dirt).  Continue on Pinedale Road 3/4 miles past Forest Road #133, and turn right at the sign (small pistol with word SHOOT).  Follow the road about � mile to find the shooting place.  NOTE:  On the 1st Saturday of the month, WMOWS hosts a LONG RANGE match at ranges covering 50 to 650 yards.  The Long Range match is in a valley 5.7 miles east of Taylor one Pinedale Road.  Watch for a sign on the north side of the road.

            Directions:        Take Hwy I-40 west to exit 44. The take McConnico Road north until you reach Oatman Road. Drive west on Oatman Road approximately 5 miles until you see the Seven Mile Hill Shooting Range sign.  Turn north into the range.

4th SATURDAY --------            TOMBSTONE BUSCADEROS southeast of Tombstone.

            Directions:        Take I-10 to Benson, AZ and then turn south at Exit 303.  Drive through Benson staying right onto Hwy. 80 (Bisbee Hwy).  Drive through Tombstone and just at the south end of town (mile marker 318) turn left (east) onto Gleeson Road.  Drive approximately one mile and take the right fork past the wash.  You will cross one cattle guard (gravel road). The shoot is held on the Cowan Ranch Road (look for CAS sign).  Proceed � mile to the range which will be on the right side of the road.  Start time is 9 AM.

4th SATURDAY --------- YAVAPAI RANGERS near Cottonwood.

            Directions:        West on Forest Service Road 9571 approximately 8 miles north of Cottonwood.  Because of the divided highway, you must go past 1 miles to turn around and come back if coming from the south.

Directions:      If coming from Phoenix, go to Wickenberg to Hwy. 89. Turn North.  Go through Wilmot. There is a bar on the right hand side pf the road outside of Wilhoit.  The turn-off to the range is 2 miles from this bar.  Look for Mile marker 297.  Look for forest service road 71.  It only goes one way.  If coming from Prescott, go to Hwy 89 South.  The range is 12.7 miles from the White Spar Safeway.  As soon as you pass marker 298, look for Forest Service Road 71 and turn left.
